Your Firebird DPC membership covers the primary care services included in your membership, while insurance can still be used for hospital care, specialists, surgery, emergencies, and other services outside the practice.

How do I become a member?
You can enroll online using the Enroll Now button. If you have questions before joining, you can also schedule a free meet-and-greet or contact Firebird DPC to learn more about membership.
Appointments
Will I have a wait time?
Firebird DPC is designed around easier access and less waiting. Same-day or next-day appointments are often available during the week, depending on the clinical need and schedule.
Communication
How can members communicate?
Members can communicate with the practice through secure patient portal messaging, text, phone, and telehealth when clinically appropriate. The goal is to make it easier to ask questions and get guidance without requiring an office visit for every concern.
Labs and outside services
How do labs, imaging, and referrals work?
Firebird DPC can help coordinate laboratory testing, imaging, and specialist referrals. Discounted cash-pay options may be available for some labs and imaging, and patients can still use insurance for outside services when appropriate.
Emergencies
Does DPC replace emergency care?
No. Direct primary care is designed for routine and ongoing primary care, not emergencies or hospital care. For a medical emergency, call 911 or seek emergency care. Insurance or other appropriate coverage is still important for hospitalizations, surgery, specialist care, and other major medical expenses.
